Peter Gene Hernandez Jr., was born and raised in Hawái1 by his parents Peter Hernandez and Bernadette "Bernie" of Puerto Rico and the Philippines respectively. For the two years he was nicknamed "Bruno" by his father, because of its resemblance to the Sammartino.professional wrestler Bruno Hernandez is one of 6 siblings.
